From the Jewellery Workbench to Our Own Workshop
Abhishek Nakrani and Nirmal Satani were two friends working in a jewellery company when they decided to start their own jewellery business. They began Port of Jewels on the side while keeping their jobs, and in 2022 registered the company with the Indian Government's GST portal and started selling on marketplaces like Etsy and Amazon.
We soon realised our real strength was making jewellery. Our first B2B client sold in Australia and the USA and needed a reliable manufacturer, so we set up a small workshop with 4–5 goldsmiths. Milan Lunagariya, who started with us as a team member, was offered a partnership and joined as a partner in 2024–2025. Today we make jewellery for more than 50 B2B clients, sell directly to customers through this website, and have a team of more than 25 CAD designers and manufacturing staff.
